These audio works explore the ideas, effects and affects of the Morell Bridge located by the Yarra River in Melbourne.

The bridge creates a unique context in which to record sound, because of the natural reverberation that it produces when sound reflects off the curved brick underside.

Being sandwiched between The Royal Botanical Gardens and the Monash Freeway, this location is rich in audio textures, featuring trucks, ducks, jets, pets, joggers, cyclists… and now, musicians and their sonic weapons of choice.

The Morell Bridge was built on the land of the Bunwurrung people of the Kulin Nation and it is a crux in which to draw a current and historical soundscape of the location.
